Justin Brunelle’s main body of work, FACES, is a serial effort to depict the diversity of human expression that is both personal and universal. Through a repetition of forms resembling the face, he has found a pictorial language that has sustained his practice over three decades.  The FACES are meant to provoke recognition from the ambiguity of unconscious drawing and the more conscious effort of applying color.
